Duluth, GA - The Atlanta Gladiators, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Nashville Predators and the American Hockey League’s Milwaukee Admirals, announced on Sunday that forwards Austin Roest and Hiroki Gojsic have been assigned to Atlanta from Milwaukee, and forward Ben Strinden has been loaned to Atlanta from Milwaukee.
Austin Roest is entering the second year of his professional career after spending time with both the Gladiators and the Admirals last season. Roest scored 1 goal and 6 assists for 7 points in 41 games with the Admirals as well as 2 goals and 3 assists for 5 points in 5 regular season games with the Gladiators. The 22-year-old forward was drafted in the 6th round, 175th overall in the 2023 NHL Draft by the Nashville Predators. He scored his first professional goal in his first game with the Gladiators on February 27, 2026, against Jacksonville, where he finished the night with a goal and two assists.
Hiroki Gojsic is entering his first season of professional hockey following three seasons in the WHL with the Kelowna Rockets. The 6’3”, 209-pound, 20 year-old forward scored 19 goals and 22 assists for 41 points in 55 games with the Rockets in the 2025-26 campaign and racked up 60 goals and 68 assists for 128 points in 184 games with Kelowna from 2023 to 2026. Gojsic was drafted by the Nashville Predators in the 3rd round, 94th overall, in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
Ben Strinden, 24, played three games with the Admirals last season following his senior season at the University of North Dakota in which he scored 15 goals and 20 assists for 35 points in 38 games as one of the team’s alternate captains. Strinden’s 35 points were the second most among North Dakota skaters and set a new career high, shattering his previous best of 16 points in 38 games in the 2024-25 season. The 6’1”, 209-pound forward played four seasons of NCAA Division I hockey at the University of North Dakota from 2022 to 2026 and logged 32 goals and 40 assists for 72 points in 137 career games. He was drafted in the 7th round, 210th overall, by the Nashville Predators in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
