Duluth, GA - The Atlanta Gladiators, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Nashville Predators and the American Hockey League’s Milwaukee Admirals, announced on Tuesday via the team’s YouTube channel that the team has re-signed defenseman Andrew Jarvis for the 2026-27 season.

Jarvis, 29, re-signs in Atlanta for his fifth full season of professional hockey and his third with the Gladiators. Last season, Javis was named an alternate captain and tallied 6 assists in 57 games with the Gladiators. Over the course of his ECHL career, he has scored 6 goals and 28 assists for 34 points in 217 games, having played for the Allen Americans, Tulsa Oilers, and Atlanta Gladiators.

The 5’ 9”, 181-pound defenseman made his pro debut midway through the 2021-22 season, signing with the Allen Americans after completing a four-year collegiate career at Carleton University, where he scored 2 goals and 18 assists for 20 points in 61 games. Jarvis has been a leader and has worn a letter at every level he’s played, serving as the captain of the Brockville Braves of the CCHL (2016-2018), and an alternate captain for Carleton University (2021-22), and the Gladiators last season.

Gladiators’ Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations, Matt Ginn, praised Jarvis’ physical style of play and leadership, saying, “Jarvy brings a ton to our group both on and off the ice. He wore an “A” for us last season and is a guy that competes night in and night out.” He continued to say, “Jarvy takes pride in playing hard, being physical, and being tough to play against. He is a real glue guy for our group, and we’re excited to bring Jarvy back into the fold this season.”

Andrew Jarvis joins Max Neill, Connor Caponi, Kyle Pow, Anthony Cipollone, Joey Cipollone, Jack Blake, Stephen Calisti, Ryan Nolan, Kirklan Irey, Mickey Burns, Ethan Strang, Corson Hopwo, and Ryan Conroy as players who have signed with the Gladiators for the 2026-27 season.
