Duluth, GA - The Atlanta Gladiators, proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Nashville Predators and the American Hockey League’s Milwaukee Admirals, announced on Thursday via the team’s YouTube channel that the team has signed forward/defenseman Kyle Pow for the 2026-27 season.
Pow joins the Gladiators for his fourth season of professional hockey, having experience playing in the NIHL, SPHL, FPHL, and the ECHL. In the 2025-26 campaign, Pow played in the ECHL with the Kansas City Mavericks, logging 18 PIM in 8 games; and in the FPHL with the Athens Rock Lobsters, recording 109 PIM in 19 games.
The 6’6”, 225-pound forward began his professional career in the 2023-24 season in the National Ice Hockey League, splitting time with the Whitley Warriors and Bristol Pitbulls, scoring 4 goals and 2 assists for 6 points and 76 penalty minutes in 34 games.
The following season, Pow made his ECHL debut with the Utah Grizzlies, fighting in his first game and appearing in 3 games total. He then spent time in the Southern Professional Hockey League with the Birmingham Bulls, with an assist and 19 PIM in 6 games, and the Federal Prospects Hockey League’s Athens Rock Lobsters with an assist and 53 PIM in 15 games.
“Kyle is a big, tough player that can play both forward and defense. He carries a presence on the ice and will stick up for his teammates in all situations,” said Gladiators Head Coach & Director of Hockey Operations, Matt Ginn. “We wanted to get a little bigger and meaner this season, and Kyle fits the bill. He’s a great teammate and we’re excited to add him to our group this season,” he said.
Kyle Pow joins Max Neill and Connor Caponi as players who have signed with the Gladiators for the 2026-27 season.
