Duluth, GA - The Atlanta Gladiators, proud affiliate of the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League and the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League, announced on Monday that the team has signed defenseman Evan Orr to a Standard Player Contract (SPC).
Orr, 25, joins the Gladiators after completing his senior season at Stonehill College where he finished the 2025-26 collegiate season with 5 goals and 13 assists for 18 points in 35 games. The defenseman led all Stonehill blue-liners in scoring and finished third in team scoring overall. He was teammates with Gladiators defenseman Cam Gaudette at Stonehill during the 2024-25 season.
The 5’11”, 185-pound defenseman played at Michigan Tech for the first two seasons of his collegiate career, helping the Huskies Win the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Championship in 2024 before spending his junior and senior seasons at Stonehill College. Over the course of his collegiate career, Orr amassed 16 goals and 25 assists for 41 points in 111 games.
Orr played three seasons of junior hockey in the NAHL with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights, Odessa Jackalopes, and Northeast Generals; and one in the BCHL with the Prince George Spruce Kings, logging 21 goals and 65 assists for 86 points in 201 games from 2018-2022.
