ORLANDO, Fl. - The Atlanta Gladiators (22-13-3-0) could not find a way to beat Orlando Solar Bears’ (16-16-4-1) goaltender Jack LaFontaine in the third period as the club fell 3-2 on Wednesday night at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

Atlanta scored just minutes into the game for an early 1-0 lead (17:52). Michal Mrazik picked the pocket of a Solar Bears’ defenseman in the offensive zone and set up Tyler Kobrin for his fifth goal of the season and the lead.
Orlando tied things up just over ten minutes later to make the score 1-1 (7:06).
The Solar Bears scored midway through the second period to go ahead 2-1 (9:14).
Atlanta scored three minutes later to tie the game up 2-2 (6:28). Noah Laaouan sent a shot on net from the point and Cody Sylvester managed to tip it to himself and knock it home for his 15th tally of the year.
Orlando regained their lead making it 3-2 with 3:32 remaining in the second period.
Both goaltenders stood tall in the third period to ensure they did not give up any more opportunities. Atlanta pulled goaltender Tyler Parks with just over a minute remaining in the third period, but did so to no avail.
Jack LaFontaine made 31 saves to secure the victory for Orlando Tyler Parks turned aside 24 of 27 shots in the loss for Atlanta.
