DULUTH, Ga. - The Atlanta Gladiators (17-9-2-0) relinquished a 3-0 lead to the Norfolk Admirals (5-22-1-1) but some magic on the power play in the third period powered them to a 4-3 victory Friday night at home.
First Star: Cody Sylvester (ATL) - 1 goal, 1 assist

Third Star: Tyler Kobryn (ATL) - 1 goal
Atlanta opened the scoring before the midway point of the first period (11:28). Kaid Oliver sent a sharp angle shot on net which found its way through Norfolk netminder Michael Bullion to make it 1-0.Â
The Gladiators doubled their lead just over a minute later to make it 2-0 (10:17). Gabe Guertler drove the net and knocked home a rebound in front for his ninth tally of the season.
Tyler Kobryn netted his first of the season in the second period to extend Atlanta’s lead to 3-0 (17:30). Kobryn sent a puck on net, beating Bullion to put the Gladiators up by three.
Norfolk’s powerplay got their team on the board just 30 seconds later to make it 3-1 (16:52).Â
The Admirals struck once again on the power play to trim Atlanta’s lead to 3-2 early in the second period (6:33).
With less than a minute to play in the middle frame Norfolk tied the game making it 3-3 (00:47).
Atlanta regained their lead on the power play in the third period to make it 4-3 (16:25). Cody Sylvester sent a one-timer from Derek Topatigh past Bullion for the lead which proved to be the game winner.Â
Tyler Parks made 31 saves on 34 shots in the win for Atlanta, Michael Bullion stopped 38 shots in the loss for Norfolk.Â
