A Letter from Team President Jerry James

Dear Glads Nation,

The last few days have been an unprecedented whirlwind. Although we looked forward to completing our regular season and competing in the Kelly Cup Playoffs, we will unfortunately be setting down our sticks until the fall.

Throughout this ever-changing development in our world, our main concern has been the safety of our players, staff, and community. We implore every member of Glads Nation to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The entire Gladiators organization stands with the ECHL, and the entire sporting world, in taking preventative measures to ensure the safety and health of our community. We applaud the continued efforts of public health officials for their diligent efforts, as well as the tireless work of those in the medical community.

A change like this can ignite a multitude of questions, and we appreciate your understanding as we adapt to this shifting landscape. We thank all Gladiators’ fans for a fantastic 2019-2020 season, and we are committed to build on that foundation for the 2020-2021 campaign. Thank you for being the most passionate fan base in the ECHL, and being so dedicated to our great game through this trying time.

Our team will carry a nine-game home winning streak into Opening Weekend 2020. I speak for the entire Gladiators organization when I say we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Infinite Energy Arena to drop the puck this fall.
