Duluth, GA – The Atlanta Gladiators, ECHL affiliate of the Eastern Conference Champion Boston Bruins, were recognized for outstanding promotion in the group ticket package category. It was announced at the annual ECHL Summer League Meetings Award Ceremony, where the organization was given the “Creative Ticket Package of the Year” award.
The Gladiators in their mission to create more engagement with the highly diverse community in Atlanta, worked with the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to offer a VIP Soccer Experience for fans. Several well-known members of the 2019 MLS Champions, Atlanta United where in attendance including Hector “Tito” Villalba, Leondro Gonzalez and Eric Remidi.
The package for the March 27th event included tickets to the Gladiators game, a Gladiators branded scarf, along with access to a private meet and greet with the Atlanta United players that included a photograph and autograph session.
“A recognition like this one demonstrates how the efforts our organization is making to attract new fans from our diverse community and to increasing ticket sales have not only paid off, but have come together as one,” said Gladiators President Jerry James about the award.
With over 300 ticket packages sold for the event, this is not only slated to be an annual event for the Gladiators but is just one of many efforts the team is making to attract the highly diverse fan base that lives in proximity of the arena.
