DULUTH, Ga. – Atlanta defeated the Norfolk Admirals 5-3 on Saturday, November 10th at the Norfolk Scope Arena marking the 481st ECHL win for Gladiators head coach, Jeff Pyle. The victory broke the tie with long-time Norfolk Admirals coach, John Brophy for third place on the all-time head coaching wins list in ECHL history. Over the course of 14 seasons as a head coach in the ECHL, the Minnesota native earned wins with the Mobile Mysticks (137), Evansville IceMen (31) and Gwinnett/Atlanta Gladiators (313). Pyle is now only 10 wins behind John Marks for second all-time in ECHL history.
