Nashville Recalls Magwood to Milwaukee, Persson Loaned to Atlanta

DULUTH, Ga. –  The Atlanta Gladiators announced on Tuesday that the NHL’s Nashville Predators have recalled forward Zach Magwood from his loan to the AHL’s Milwaukee Admirals. In addition, forward Carl Persson has been loaned by the Predators to the Gladiators from the Admirals.

Magwood, 20, returns to Milwaukee, where he appeared in one game for the Admirals at the start of this season. The Cambridge, ON native appeared in three games for the Gladiators and notched one assist.

Persson, 23, played two games for the Gladiators at the start of the year and managed one assist and a plus-one rating. The Sweden native did not appear in any games with the Admirals during his callup to the AHL. Last year, the 6-foot-1, 205-pound forward notched 24 points (13g, 11a) in 52 games for Karlskrona of the SHL (top pro league in Sweden) before signing an Entry-Level Contract with the Nashville Predators during the off-season.
