DULUTH, Ga. – The Atlanta Gladiators announced Monday that forward Phil Lane has signed a PTO with the Cleveland Monsters of the AHL.
Lane, 25, has skated in six games in the AHL this season scoring one goal split between the Milwaukee Admirals and Binghamton Devils. In 62 games with the Gladiators, the Rochester, NY native leads Atlanta in goals with 32 and is tied for the team-lead in points with 57. The former Arizona Coyotes draft pick has appeared in 224 total AHL games in his six-year professional career.
Lane is expected to finish the regular season with Cleveland but return for the start of the 2018 Kelly Cup Playoffs with Atlanta.
