DULUTH, Ga. – The Atlanta Gladiators announced on Monday that the Boston Bruins have reassigned goalie Dan Vladar to the Providence Bruins. In addition, Atlanta has traded for goalie Carmine Guerriero from the Manchester Monarchs for future considerations.
Vladar, 20, leads the Gladiators goalies this season with 14 wins. The Prague, CZE native is on pace for career ECHL bests in goals-against-average (2.99) and save percentage (0.910). The second-year-pro has 10 games of AHL experiences over the past two seasons going 5-1-2-1 with a 2.34 goals-against-average and 0.926 save percentage.
Guerriero, 25, has appeared in six games this season for the South Carolina Stingrays, Brampton Beast and Idaho Steelheads. The Montreal, PQ native started his pro tenure this season after a four-year stint for the University of Alabama-Huntsville. The 6-foot, 175-pound netminder earned a save percentage of over 0.900 in three of his four campaigns with the Chargers.
