DULUTH, Ga. – The Atlanta Gladiators announced Saturday that they have signed forward Brennan Saulnier to an amateur try-out contract.
Saulnier, 24, is set to start his professional career with the Gladiators after spending the last four years at the NCAA’s University of Alabama-Huntsville. In 30 games during his senior season, the Halifax, NS native posted career-highs in goals (8) and penalty minutes (121) and fell just short of his college-best in points with 15 (8-7-15). The 6-foot, 180-pound forward amassed 56 points (21-35-56) and 351 penalty minutes during his four-year tenure with the Chargers. Saulnier has made the trip to South Carolina and is expected to make his pro debut tonight vs. the Stingrays.
