DULUTH, Ga. – The Atlanta Gladiators announced Thursday that they have signed rookie forward Alex Rauter.
Rauter, 23, recently completed a four-year collegiate career for Cornell University of the NCAA. The Chatham, NJ native posted his best season for the Big Red during his senior campaign this year amassing 20 points (11-9-20) in 32 games while serving as the team’s co-captain. Over the course of his tenure in Ithaca, NY, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound forward registered 43 points (20-23-43) in 93 games and played significant time at every position besides goalie. Prior to his college stint, Rauter notched 19 points (9-10-19) in 51 USHL games for Omaha and Youngstown.
