The Atlanta Gladiators have agreed to terms with forwards Patrick McCadden and Tanner Pond, the team announced on Thursday. McCadden, 28, returns to Atlanta for his second season with the team. In 29 games played with the Gladiators last year, the 6-foot, 190-pound forward scored one goal and three assists for four total points. The Chesterfield, Missouri native also amassed 45 penalty minutes.“McCadden is the ultimate team guy” said Gladiators Head Coach Andy Brandt. “He knows what he brings to a team, and he will relentlessly stick up for his teammates. I think the confidence of having spent a full year in the ECHL will lead to further success for Patrick this season.”
Pond, 24, joins the Gladiators after a four year collegiate career at Northeastern University. The 6-foot, 205-pound forward appeared in 109 games with the Huskies, notching five goals and seven assists for twelve total points.
