The Atlanta Gladiators announced Thursday that they have signed forward Cason Hohmann to a standard professional contract, and received Thomas Frazee on Wednesday from the AHL's San Antonio Rampage.
Hohmann, 23, was just released from his AHL PTO with the Charlotte Checkers where the Arlington, TX native notched one assist in two games played. The 5-foot-9, 174-pound forward began the season in Orlando, registering nine points in 12 games with the Solar Bears. In his rookie season last year with the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL, the former Boston University standout amassed 57 points in 59 games.
Frazee returns to Atlanta after skating in three games for the AHL's San Antonio Rampage. Even after missing the last two Gladiator games, the North Vancouver, BC native remains third on the team in goals with 10 and second in plus/minus with a plus-7 rating. Overall, Frazee has earned 18 points in 23 games with Atlanta so far this season.
Hohmann and Frazee are both expected to be in the lineup against the Everblades on Friday.
