The Atlanta Gladiators have received goalie Dan Vladar from the Boston Bruins and signed forward Trevor Mingoia, the team announced Thursday.

Vladar, 19, was the Boston Bruins’ 3rd round selection (75th overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. The Praha, Czech Republic product appeared in one NHL preseason game during training camp for Boston and stopped six of seven shots in 20 minutes of action against the Detroit Red Wings. The 6-foot-5, 185-pound netminder played his first season in North America last year with the USHL’s Chicago Steel and compiled a goals-against-average of 2.31 and save percentage of .920.

Mingoia, 24, enters his first full professional season after attending the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks and AHL’s Providence Bruins’ training camps. The Fairpoint, NY native ended last year with the Albany Devils of the AHL skating in four games, after he finished his final season at Providence College of the NCAA. In three full seasons and 102 games for the Friers, the 5-foot-10, 170-pound forward collected 83 points and earned a career high 37 points in 36 games during his senior campaign. Mingoia also helped Providence win the 2014-2015 NCAA National Championship.

In non-related transactions, the Gladiators have released goaltenders Brian Billett and Austin Keiser and suspended defenseman Patrick McEachen.
