Eric Neiley and Patrick D'Amico have agreed to terms with the Gladiators for the 2016-2017 season, the team announced on Thursday.Neiley, 24, returns to Atlanta for his second season with the organization. Appearing in 47 games with the Gladiators last season, the Warminster, Pennsylvania native notched seven goals and 12 assists for a total 19 points. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound forward also spent time with the Providence Bruins, Atlanta's AHL affiliate, appearing in six games with the P-Bruins."Eric had a very good rookie season last year," said Gladiators Head Coach Andy Brandt. "He not only grew as a player, but learned the in and outs of the professional game. We expect him to contiue his development this season, and to help drive our offensive production."D'Amico, 21, joined the Gladiators in early December 2015 via trade with the Colorado Eagles. The 6-foot, 211-pound forward appeared in 50 games with Atlanta, scoring 13 goals and seven assists for a total 20 points. Prior to joining the Gladiators, the Winnipeg, Manitoba native tallied two goals and two assists in 17 games with Colorado."When we first acquired Patrick from Colorado he came in with something to prove," said Brandt. "He was motivated to showcase his ability, not only to our organization, but also to himself, and he did just that. This year it's about Patrick adding nightly consistency to his game."The Atlanta Gladiators 14th season kicks off at the Infinite Energy Arena on Friday, October 14th against the Toledo Walleye at 7:35 PM.
