The Atlanta Gladiators announced the completion of their outstanding future consideration trades on Tuesday. The Gladiators will add one name to their roster, while finalizing deals with three additional ECHL member teams. The rights to forward Austin McKay were acquired from the Brampton Beast to complete the Andy Iles trade back from December 7th. McKay, who recently wrapped up a four year collegiate career with the Lake Superior State Lakers, appeared in two games with the Brampton Beast at the end of the 15-16 season. In 103 games with the Lakers, the 6-foot-5, 220-pound Toronto native scored eight goals and five assists and was named team captain his senior season. The 25-year-old was also selected as Lake Superior States Jim Howie Unsung Hero this past school year. The Gladiators also received the rights to forward Mike Seidel from the Indy Fuel, completing the Alex Lavoie trade from September 2015. Seidel, who spent time with the Gladiators during the 2013-2014 season, was subsequently dealt to Norfolk to finalize Atlanta acquiring Corey Fienhage from the Admirals back on February 10th. Finally, the Gladiators received financial considerations from the Allen Americans to complete the trade involving Matt Register and declined all offers from Wichita to complete their outstanding future considerations deal involving Todd Fiddler.
