It all turned on a seven-game stretch. The promise, the expectation and, ultimately, the Atlanta Gladiators' season, met its demise over 12 days in early March. The Gladiators' offense evaporated and they plummeted out of a playoff spot.Atlanta wasn't officially eliminated until almost a month later, but that seven-game losing skid was too much to overcome.
