The Gladiators will wrap up Part One of their annual Game Worn Jersey Auctions during tonight’s game. Bidding concludes for the WHITE game worn jersey silent auction at the end of the 2nd intermission during the Saturday, March 26th game. Winning bidders will pay for their jerseys at the end of the auction, but will not receive them until after the final Gladiators game of the 15-16 season. (Including any potential playoff games.) The Gladiators will have the jerseys signed by any players still on the active roster at the conclusion of the season/playoffs, but cannot guarantee that every jersey will be able to be signed. Bids start at $250 and increase in increments of $25. If, at the end of the silent auction, two bidders are locked in a bidding war, the auction will go live with bidding continuing amongst the two until a winner is determined. As the table may move around the lobby over the course of March, depending on how much we have going on during any given game night, please be on the lookout for the Gladiators Jersey Auction tables at every home game between now and March 26th to place your bid. Due to the transient nature of the ECHL, there may be jerseys that go up for bidding at the start of the auction that belong to a certain player who is no longer with the team. If that happens and an incoming college player is assigned his jersey/number, there will NOT be a new bid sheet created for the new player. Bidding will continue on the original sheet/player. The winning bidder for that NUMBER will then have the option of having the original player's nameplate re-attached after the season, or keeping the new player's nameplate.The end-of-season jersey auctions are NOT considered charitable donations.
