The Atlanta Gladiators announced today that forward Garry Nunn has agreed to a professional try-out contract with the AHL’s San Antonio Rampage. Nunn, 26, leads the Gladiators this season with 33 assists and is second in total points with 44 in 43 games played. The veteran forward has also excelled on the powerplay this year as the Victoria, BC native has posted 18 helpers and 20 points overall on the man-advantage, both of which rank second in the ECHL. Today marks the second call-up to the AHL for the 5-foot-9, 175-pound winger. Nunn made his AHL debut earlier this season when he appeared in 11 games for the Gladiator’s AHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins, registering two assists. Nunn has joined the Rampage, the top AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche, in San Antonio, TX as they prepare for a clash with the Ontario Reign tomorrow evening at the AT&T Center.
