In celebration of the Gladiators 4th Annual ’Stache Bash, and to raise additional funds for the team’s official #MOVEMBER Fundraiser, the Glads have a new fun way to select the best ’MO on the team at Saturday’s game! Visit the ’Stache Bash Baggery located adjacent to the Gladiators Information Booth in the main lobby of the Infinite Energy Center throughout the game tomorrow night to cast your vote for the best face fuzz in the bunch. Fans are asked to vote by dropping dollar bills into the corresponding players bag who gets their vote. At the end of the game, well tally the funds raised from each players bag and determine a winner to be announced on the Gladiators social media on Monday morning. All of the proceeds from the vote will be donated to the Gladiators Team Movember Fund, as created by Head Coach Andy Brandt. Also the Glads will be auctioning off a one-of-a-kind team autographed stick at Saturdays game. The stick, painted in the symbolic blue used for Prostate Cancer Awareness, will be autographed by the entire Gladiators squad and will be used by Gladiators Alternate Captain Joe Stejskal during warm-ups before the game. Fans who would like to participate in the auction can visit the same Stache Bash Baggery table in the main lobby to place their bids in advance of the silent auctions end at the conclusion of the 2nd Intermission. Proceeds from the auction will go directly to the teams Movember fundraiser. The silent auction will end promptly at the conclusion of the 2nd intermission. If, at the end, two bidders are locked in a bidding war, the auction will go live with bidding continuing among the two until a winner is determined. Cash, credit, or check (with presentation of a valid photo ID) are acceptable forms of payment. If the winning bidder pays with cash/credit, they may take the stick with them Saturday. If paying by check, the winning bidder must wait until their check clears the bank, and then they will be contacted by the Gladiators Office to come pick up the stick.
