Gladiators Partner with 97.7

The Other Side of the River 97.7 FM will serve as the Atlanta Gladiators radio home for the 2015-2016 season, the Gladiators announced on Friday. The Other Side of the River will broadcast all of the Gladiators 72 regular season games, beginning with the Gladiators season opener tonight in Estero, Florida against the Florida Everblades. To supplement the broadcast, and ensure that Gladiators fans not in the metro Atlanta area can keep up with the on-ice action, the team will continue to operate its Mixlr account. Established during the 2014-2015 season, fans can download the Mixlr app and search for Gladiators Hockey or click on the LISTEN LIVE link on atlantagladiators.com. Partnering with 97.7 will be nothing but positive for the Gladiators, said Gladiators General Manager and Vice President of Business Operations Joe Gelderman. Giving our fans easy access to Glads games on the FM dial is something weve been hoping to do for many years, especially with our new focus on achieving a broader reach in the metro Atlanta area. We worked hard over the summer with our new radio partners to nail down the details, and we couldnt be more excited to launch on 97.7 than with our first game of the season tonight in Florida. The Atlanta Gladiators return home to drop the puck on their 13th season at The Arena at Infinite Energy Center on Friday, October 23rd, 2015. For ticket information, visit the official team website at www.atlantagladiators.com or call the main office line at 770-497-5100.The Gladiators are members of the ECHL, the nations premier AA hockey league. All home games are played at the 11,355-seat Arena at Infinite Energy Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth where parking is always free. The Gladiators have established an unrivaled commitment to excellence, maintaining a distinctive reputation for affordable and family-friendly sports entertainment and consistently ranked as one of the top Things To Do in the Atlanta area and across the North Georgia region. For all the latest team news, contests, and more visit AtlantaGladiators.com, or like the Gladiators on Facebook (www.facebook.com/AtlantaGladiators), follow the team on Twitter (www.twitter.com/ATLGladiators), Instagram (www.instagram.com/atlgladiators) or Snapchat (www.snapchat.com) at gladshockey . -###-
