Zanoski Runner Up for Weekly Award

Gwinnett’s own Tom Zanoski was named a runner up for the Sher-Wood Hockey ECHL Player of The Week for October 15-18. He lit the lamp twice and also chipped in with two helpers for a total of four points in the Gladiators’ season opener on Saturday, October 17, against the Wheeling Nailers. Gwinnett went on to win the game 4-1. Zanoski had a hand in all four of Gwinnett’s goals, including the game-winning goal in the second period on a power play with an assist from Adam Berti and the final goal, which he was credited with after being hauled down on a break away with an empty Wheeling net. Zanoski leads the Gladiators in goals with two and in points with four. With his four points, he is tied with 12 others for second most in the league. He also shares the top spot in the league for game winning goals with his first tally of the season against Wheeling on Saturday.
